Consultations, quotes, and estimates

Your project contract
All construction work is governed by a separate written contract signed by you and Salt & Pepper. That contract sets the scope of work, price, payment schedule, timeline, and warranty for your project. If anything on this website conflicts with your signed contract, the contract controls.
Deposits and payments
We typically ask for a deposit of 10% or less to reserve your project on our schedule. Remaining payments are billed at milestones defined in your contract. Exact amounts and due dates are listed in your contract.
Change orders and hidden conditions
Opening walls, floors, or ceilings can reveal conditions no one could see in advance, such as water damage, wood rot, or outdated plumbing or electrical. If we find something, we will stop, show you, and document it. No additional work or cost is added without a written change order that you approve.
Permits and licensing
Salt & Pepper is a licensed Florida general contractor (CGC1535727) and carries liability and workers' compensation insurance. We pull required permits and coordinate inspections for the work we contract to perform.
Warranty
Qualifying projects include a written 2-Year Workmanship Warranty. Coverage, exclusions, and how to make a claim are spelled out in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, appliances, and equipment are provided separately by the manufacturer.
Financing
Financing is offered through third-party lenders. Approval, rates, and terms are set by the lender, not by Salt & Pepper, and are subject to the lender's own agreements.
Calls, texts, and emails
When you submit a form or contact us, you agree that Salt & Pepper may contact you by phone, text message, and email about your inquiry, consultation, and project. Calls may be recorded for quality and training.
If you opt in to text messages, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Limitation of liability
